Amy Melissa Bennett

I design systems that translate complexity into clarity.

Working across UX, AI, and visual storytelling to design and build cohesive systems from concept through implementation.

Meet Amy

I design human-centered systems that translate complexity into clarity, working at the intersection of AI, visual storytelling, and user experience.

My work sits at the intersection of design, technology, and human behavior. I design user experiences across web and product environments, shaping complex ideas into intuitive, accessible, and purposeful interfaces.

With a background in both design and front-end development, I move comfortably between visual systems and the logic behind them. I work across wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design, always looking for where friction occurs and how to resolve it in a way that feels natural to the user.

I approach design as both a creative and analytical process, combining usability thinking, pattern recognition, and iterative problem-solving. Whether through lightweight user testing, feedback loops, or system refinement, I focus on improving clarity and reducing friction.

Communication is a core part of how I work. I collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, translating between systems and people to keep projects aligned and accessible.

I am especially interested in how AI is shaping user experience, and I actively integrate AI tools into my workflow to explore faster iteration, clearer systems, and more responsive design thinking.

What I Design

User Interfaces, interaction flows, and design systems that prioritize clarity, usability, and real-world use.

How I Work

Concept-driven, collaborative, and detail-focused. I work cross-functionally and use design to reduce friction, improve usability, and support understanding.

Tools & Systems

Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML/CSS, working knowledge of JavaScript, GitHub, and AI-assisted design workflows.
