Overview:

Created for the 2025 Portland Winter Light Festival, Connecting Consciousness is a motion-activated, sci-fi-inspired audio installation. The piece invites passersby into a sonic environment that feels alive — reactive and sentient.

Process:

I collected, created, and warped a palette of ambient textures and sound effects to simulate the idea of an intelligent consciousness observing its environment. I used Suno.ai to compose a haunting ambient track layered with synthetic tones and spatial movement. The installation was triggered by motion sensors, allowing viewers to interact with sound as a living, dynamic entity.
